It’s the time of year when people reflect up on where they’ve been and where they’re going. We reconsider our behaviors and resolve to do better, to be better. What a perfect time to reconsider a plastic bag ban!
Sandy Bauers, GreenSpace Columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, considers the ban and our relationship with plastic bags in her December 12 column. In some communities, she notes, there is progress. In others there is still incredible waste. Perhaps most importantly, she notes that even the greenest among us have room for improvement.
