Following last week’s elections, ThinkProgress reported that many in the new class of Republican legislators not only oppose comprehensive climate change legislation, but deny the existence of manmade global warming.
The site reports that 50% of the GOP’s newly elected representatives (more than 100) deny manmade climate change while 86% oppose climate change legislation. This is in addition to some other disconcerting statistics, but we’ll keep it green. Read the full report here.
