Marathon Grill is putting down some more roots in the city. This time, they’ll do so not in brick and mortar, but on a 15,750 square foot urban farm at the corner of 27th and Master Streets in North Philadelphia.
The farm will provide food for Marathon’s restaurants, but will also serve the community with a farm stand and various educational and outreach programs.
The project will be launched on March 21, 2011 at a 1pm press conference. Mayor Michael Nutter will be in attendance.
