Four Peppercorn Mix Ingredients
2 Tbs. green peppercorns
1 Tbs. black peppercorns
1 Tbs. white peppercorns
2 Tbs. pink peppercorns
Four Peppercorn Mix Procedure
1. Place green, black, and white peppercorns in a small skillet, and heat over medium heat. Toast 2 minutes, shaking pan frequently. Add pink peppercorns, and toast for 2 more minutes, shaking frequently. Transfer to bowl and cool completely.
2. Place mixture in pepper mill, and store in cool, dry place until ready to use.
2 large heirloom or beefsteak tomatoes
8 oz. fresh mozzarella, sliced
2 Tbs. olive oil
2 Tbs. Four Peppercorn Mix
1 Tbs. chopped fresh oregano
Overlap tomato and mozzarella slices on serving platter. Drizzle with oil, season with salt, and sprinkle with freshly ground Four Peppercorn Mix. Garnish with chopped fresh oregano.
