Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, shares his passion for environmentalism with a screening of his documentary film “Harmony” tonight on NBC.
The film is being shown as part of NBC Universal’s annual Green Week and will immediately follow Charles’ interview with Brian Williams in which he reportedly focuses more on his marriages than his passion.
For those who don’t know, Charles has long been an advocate of green energy and sustainable agriculture for years—watch for the clip of a young Charles speaking with Al Gore on the subject of international cooperation in matters of sustainability from twenty years ago. His purpose for making the film, he explains, was to keep future generations from asking why he ignored such significant problems as climate change.
The film shows lots of panoramic shots of British Columbia and England and interviews farmers from both lands and Cajun country, Louisiana.
