With the help of Whole Foods Market, Cenova landscapers, Queen Village Neighbors Association and our friends and neighbors in Bella Vista, Wash West, Society Hill, and South Street/Headhouse, greenlimbs chipped 338 trees on January 7. The trees were chipped into mulch and donated to the South Philadelphia Older Adults Center.
Elswhere in Philadelphia…
- In Northern Liberties, 223 trees were saved from the landfill
- In Chestnut Hill, 153 trees were given new life as mulch
- UC Green took in 324 trees in University City
- At Passyunk Square, 385 trees were recycled

We just found out that it is possible to recycle our Christmas Tree. Is there any place we can take it to have it recycled at this late date?
